my mom is pretty god damned cool. you’ve met her, kyle. the worst kept family secret is that she’s a smoker and has been FOREVER. she found out i was smoking and now we have a dirty little secret cig on the back porch when no one’s looking, so my bitch of a middle sister (who is a nurse) doesn’t give us a three hour lecture about lung cancer.
my mom also used to smoke tons of weed. i have very clear memories of going to her friends houses with her and playing with their kids while the adults smoked weed and played euchre for HOURS and when i was little i used to wear roach clips in my hair (you know, the ones with the feathers on the end? they made excellent barrettes). she makes frequent jokes about how much weed I smoke and tells me not to take the brown acid when i go to music festivals.
there really was no point to this other than to say how awesome my mom is.

Please explain the Large Hadron Collider to me, Orion.

My mom is like April’s mom. but.. she has the mom thing where she has this urge to make me feel guilty and lecture me for really no reason, like smoking, and she smokes a pack a day and has for at least 30 years.. so she has no reason to lecture me..
